Welcome to Saint Rose Center

What is Saint Rose?

Since Fall of 1997 Saint Rose has been a center providing day training services to adults who have developmental disabilities. For over 40 years prior to becoming a day training center, we were a school who taught children with developmental disabilities. We provide developmental skills for people who wish to improve their lives. Our services are open to people of all religions, races, sexes ages and national origins.

Who comes to the programs?

This program is for people who are at least 21 years of age. To be part of this program you must wish to participate. You will be given many choices. You will learn to think more critically and apply decision-making processes.

Why do people come to Saint Rose Center for rehabilitation services?

People come to Saint Rose Center to improve their lives, become more able, obtain training in everyday skills, work in our work program, obtain help in finding a job, or enhance their spirituality.

What will happen?

We hope you will come to understand your independence and participation as a community member. In so doin, you may find responsibilities are asked of you. Your individual program plan will determine what you do each day. The goal for the program is to help you enjoy a meaningful life. Your needs and aspirations balance with needs of the community at large. Your larger community includes being a participant of Saint Rose Center, a family member, a neighbor a citizen of Chicago, Illinois and the United States.

Be unique!
